Peel Trails Strategy
Where are your favourite trails, and where would you like to see more?
The Peel Region has a range of trails enjoyed by many different trail users. The landscape is diverse and offers a variety of accessible experiences. If you enjoy exploring in the Peel Region this is your chance to let us know where you would like to see more trails.
The 5 local governments (City of Mandurah, Shire of Boddington, Shire of Murray, Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale and Shire of Waroona) are currently developing a trails strategy for the Peel Region in line with the WA Trails Blueprint.
The project has backing and support from the Peel Development Commission, Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions, and the Department of Local Government, Sport and Culture.
There are two ways for you to have your say, an online survey and an interactive map. By having your say you will provide useful information on where the current trail hotspots are and where potential new opportunities are located.
The consultation period is live for 2 weeks and closes on 25 May 2018.
The short survey will take about 10 minutes of your time. Your responses to the questions will be confidential. Please read each question carefully and give the response that most closely reflects your views on trails in the Peel Region.
Have your say by taking the survey on the link below.
Share your ideas for trail development in the Peel Region through this interactive mapping tool. Please assist us by nominating existing trail networks you use in the region, as well as your ideas for potential new ones. You can do this by dragging and dropping markers from the top panel directly into the map, and filling out a short questionnaire. You will need to fill out your email, but you only need to do this once by selecting 'remember me'.
If you have any questions, please contact Common Ground Trails at Click here to email.
