Setting up a Worm Farm

Community Event

22 June 2019

worm farm

Want to learn how to set up your own worm farm?

Organised by the Byford Glades Community Garden, Robyn will show you how you can get started with a worm farm using an old esky!

Composting worms can eat their own bodyweight in 24-48 hours so a family of 4 people, discarding food waste of up to 4 kg per day would need 6-8 kg of worms to convert their food waste into valuable worm castings in the garden.
