Briggs Park Opening and Community Sports Day

The Shire is excited to announce that the Briggs Park redevelopment will be officially opened at a free Community Sports Day with local sporting clubs and groups on Wednesday, October 2 from 10am-12pm.
The upgrade included the installation of new lights on the upper oval as well the installation of lights on the lower oval.
Drainage issues were also resolved and new turf installed on the lower oval. New cricket and baseball nets, football goals and a cricket pitch were also installed.
The Shire invites everyone to come and celebrate the redevelopment of the Briggs Park precinct at the Community Sports Day.
There will be free sporting activities on the lower oval and Serpentine Jarrahdale Community Recreation Centre courts.
The event is supported by YMCA WA and local sports clubs.

Free on site parking is available. Please use the entrance on Gordin Way near the Centrals Football Club and follow the instructions of the parking marshals.
BYO Water bottle and hat. Please note that sand shoes must be worn if you want to play sport on the courts. Boots will not be allowed.
