Residents are advised that during the week commencing 18 March, 2019, there will be an increase in flight activity over the Serpentine Airfield and surrounding area.

Several pilots from across Australia and New Zealand will be competing at two annual competitions, the Wings International and the Australian Light Aircraft Championship which is being held at the Serpentine Airfield.

While the actual competition times are Wednesday afternoon and all day Friday and Saturday, competitors are likely to be practicing from the Monday.

The competition is being hosted by the Royal Aero Club of WA (RACWA) on behalf of the Royal Federation of Aero Clubs of Australia and kindly being supported by the Sports Aircraft Builders Club of WA (SABCWA) based at Serpentine Airfield.
