Shinrin-Yoku means Forest Bathing, a term coined by the Japanese Forestry Ministry to encourage people to get out of the city and into nature.
Jarrahdale Heritage Society guides will take you on a gentle 4km loop with on steep hill section and down a single file track, through Jarrah forest, stopping for a time to 'forest bath'.
Bring water, sturdy walking shoes, weather protection, insect repellant, hiking stick and trail snack to enjoy along the track.
Registration from 8.30am for a 9am start.
Donation towards trail maintenance $5 per person or $10 for a family.
