A contribution arrangement for the provision of community infrastructure is currently being progressed. An amendment to the Shire's Town Planning Scheme was considered by Council in December 2011. A further report is anticipated to be presented to Council in February 2012 in respect of the 'Development Contribution Plan Report'.

The Shire is seeking to finalise a contribution arrangement for the Byford Structure Plan Area. Council at its Special Meeting of 29 September 2011 considered a number of different matters relating to the Byford area and resolved to seek further public comment on a series of modifications prior to considering the matter for finalisation and then seeking final approval from the WA Planning Commission and the Hon. Minister for Planning.

Community Facilities and Services Plan to 2020
Contribution arrangements for the provision of both traditional and community infrastructure are envisaged for the Mundijong Whitby area. Landowners and other stakeholders will be invited to participate in the preparation of the contribution arrangements. It is anticipated the process will commence in late 2011/early 2012. Further information will be made available as matters progress.
