Councillors

Serpentine Jarrahdale Shire is served by a Council, consisting of a President and nine councillors who spend their time voluntarily in looking at the best interests of the community. They are elected by popular vote and are readily available to ratepayers to handle enquiries, complaints and suggestions.

Whilst councillors have a particular ward, they work together as a team to represent the interests of the Shire as a whole. Once a decision is made by Council it is the responsibility of the Chief Executive Officer to see that decision implemented.
