Council Responds to WAPC Proposed Modifications to the Byford Town Centre Local Structure Plan

At the 22 August 2011 Ordinary Council Meeting, Council considered the submissions received on the proposed modifications to the Byford Town Centre LSP and responded to the Western Australia Planning Commission.  A copy of the Council Report and associated attachments are listed below.

WAPC Proposed Modifications to the Byford Town Centre Local Structure Plan

The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) is proposing a number of modifications to the Byford Town Centre Local Structure Plan. The modifications result from a review of the draft Local Structure Plan by the WAPC. 

At a Special Council Meeting held 3 June 2011 Council resolved that The WAPC proposed modifications were substantial in their nature, thus requiring further input from the broader community, and therefore resolved to advertise the modifications.  Plans and documents detailing the proposed changes are listed below.

Draft Byford Town Centre Local Structure Plan - Approved by Council

At a Special Council Meeting held on 8 June 2010 Council approved the Byford Town Centre Local Structure Plan with modifications. The modifications are mostly as a result of submissions received during the two advertising periods.
